A passionate foodie traveling the world!

Born in Jerusalem’s Armenian community, I grew up with the influences of Dede Peniamin, my chef grandfather and the riches of Jerusalem’s Old City multicultural cuisines.

I remember Dede Peniamin presiding over the rolling and grilling of mante, walking the alleyways of Jerusalem with my Nene Mary to buy the produce brought to Jerusalem from the Bethlehem area farmers and enjoying food in the hidden gems of the Old City.

Farayek’s adventure started from my passion for food, my curiosity about culinary culture and my fascination of food as a sacred art.
